Bridges to Transition is a conference for parents, caregivers, and providers about the transition from school-age to adult services for young adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The conference features leading experts on a range of topics including daily living, post-transition opportunities, and help with navigating the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The conference is a collaborative effort between Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC), NYC Autism Charter School (NYCACS), and the Heckscher Foundation for Children.
This year’s conference is offered free-of-charge for parents and caregivers of children with autism. The conference brings together more than 200 participants for a day-long conference in Manhattan. The conference attracts attendees from throughout New York City and Long Island.
