Respite at Home

Program Description:

The QSAC In-Home Respite program seeks to provide scheduled care to individuals with autism or pervasive developmental disorder in their own homes. The program serves a dual purpose as it provides participants with opportunities to develop greater independence and dignity, while offering caregivers a break from their daily responsibilities. Each family participating in the In-Home Respite program is offered one 4-hour respite per week. Families can request day or evening, weekday or weekend respites.
