Now more than ever, we need to commit ourselves to sharing the stories and legacies of black business leaders, artists, activists, lawmakers, and others who have been instrumental in strengthening the fabric of our communities.
The late Kobe Bryant said, “It’s the magic within each of us that gives us the potential to inspire the world.” This sense of inspiration, understanding of civil rights struggles, and appreciation for achievements guide us throughout February as we celebrate National Black History Month. Now more than ever, we need to commit ourselves to sharing the stories and legacies of black business leaders, artists, activists, lawmakers, and others who have been instrumental in strengthening the fabric of our communities. It is an important reminder of the need to stand in solidarity as we work to create a more equal and just society.
