Teacher and Nonprofit Training and Capacity Building Program

QSAC's educator training program offers public school teachers, teaching assistants, and school building leaders in the City of New York and on Long Island access to high-impact trainings aimed at increasing their capacity to support learners with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). QSAC is a New York State approved sponsor of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) activites.

In New York City, the program is also available to nonprofit organizations seeking to increase their capacity to best support individuals with autism.

Continuing Education

We also offer continuing education courses for industry professionals who want to gain qualifications, knowledge, and skills needed for supporting children and adults with autism. Classes include overview of waiver services, understanding the Individualized Service Plan (ISP), and MSC Core trainings.

BCBA Courses

As an approved continuing education (ACE) provider, QSAC is pleased to offer Type 2 continuing education events for BACB and BCaBA certificate holders.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) certification is an internationally recognized credential that indicates professional competence in behavior analysis. Continuing education is essential for anyone involved in the field of behavior analysis. BCBA’s and BCaBA’s must either take courses or attend conferences if they plan on obtaining all of the continuing education units they need to maintain their certification.

As an approved continuing education (ACE) provider, QSAC will arrange and oversee Type 2 continuing education events for BACB certificants. QSAC currently has 10 BCBA’s that will share their combined knowledge and expertise to deliver state-of-the-art workshops. All workshops will provide information on effective interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorders based on the latest research in the field.
