This week, we celebrate Direct Support Professional Recognition Week 2023 with the theme of "Recognizing Excellence 2023". This theme reflects the high standards and quality of service that you provide to children and adults with autism and their families that we serve every day. You embody this excellence every day, by providing individualized support that meets each person's unique needs and preferences.

Your impact is immeasurable. You are not only DSPs but also teachers, mentors, advocates, and friends. You help our clients achieve their goals, learn new skills, overcome challenges, and participate in new experiences. You share your creativity, passion, and compassion with them, and inspire them to grow and thrive. You also support their families, by providing them with respite, guidance, and resources. You make a difference in their lives and in our community.

You are the backbone of our organization, and the reason QSAC is able to fulfill its mission of helping individuals with autism realize their full potential. You demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and excellence in everything you do. You are always willing to learn new things, improve your skills, and collaborate with your colleagues. You are flexible, adaptable, and resilient in the face of challenges and changes. You are committed to our values and vision, and the well-being of the people we serve.
