Students from QSAC's Preschool and Early Childhood Center in Douglaston were among the thousands of children who attended Operation Santa Claus at JFK Airport on December 13th. The Community of Mayors organized the event in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Port Authority Police Department, and Delta Airlines to bring holiday cheer to children with disabilities. The event's highlight was Santa's arrival via an airplane to one of the hangers at JFK. The children were thrilled to see Santa step out of the plane to greet them. They eagerly waited to get a glimpse of Santa and received gifts from his helpers. The event was a huge success, and the children had a wonderful time.
