Students from Sarah Lawrence College Visit QSAC to Learn About Services for the Autism Community

For several years, QSAC has partnered with Sarah Lawrence College (SLC) to provide students with a first-hand opportunity to learn more about services for the autism community. On November 8th, seven students visited a day habilitation program in the Bronx.

As a part of their visit, students from Sarah Lawrence visited QSAC for a half-day packed with a variety of experiences. QSAC's staff, including Anya Silver (Senior Director of Clinical for Day Programs), provided an overview of what QSAC does. Students took part in a tour of the program site led by a QSAC participant, learned more about how people access services, and observed several classrooms to develop an understanding of how QSAC helps people with autism achieve greater independence and realize their full potential.
