The QSAC School Holiday In-Home Respite program seeks to provide scheduled care to families caring for a loved one with a disability. The program is specifically designed to offer families a period of relief on days when public schools are closed.

The program also strives to enhance the independence of its participants by providing socialization and learning experiences either in the home or local community. Participants may request one 4-hour visit per school holiday. The program is available to all individuals diagnosed with autism or pervasive developmental disorder.
