Day School

QSAC's Day School program provides children 5 to 21 years of age with an appropriate education, implemented in the least restrictive environment.

Community Habilitation

The Community Habilitation program is primarily a skills training program designed to assist families caring for their loved ones with disabilities living at home.

After School Programs

QSAC offers After School Programs in Queens and the Bronx that seek to provide therapeutic and behavior-oriented teaching and clinical treatment programs for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder starting at age 8 and living in either Queens or the Bronx.

Saturday Recreation

QSAC's Saturday Recreation Program offers therapeutic recreation, structured activities, community outings and teaches functional skills.

Social Skills Group

QSAC provides a Social Skills Group for individuals on the autism spectrum, targeting those with high functioning autism. Individuals with autism exhibit the most profound deficits in socialization, peer interaction, and typical communication, which can significantly impact their success and overall progress.

Respite at Home

The QSAC In-Home Respite program seeks to provide scheduled care to individuals with autism or pervasive developmental disorder in their homes.

Preschool Evaluation

QSAC's Preschool (CPSE) Evaluation Site is designed to offer comprehensive evaluations for Early Intervention children transitioning to CPSE or any preschool-age child with a suspected delay in cognitive and educational development, behavior, speech, OT, and PT.

Emergency Respite Fund

QSAC has funds available to assist families living in Queens to pay for emergency respite for their disabled loved ones in times of crisis.

Early Intervention Services

The QSAC Early Intervention program addresses families' behavioral and educational goals as outlined in their child’s Individualized Family Service Plan.

Special Education Teacher Support Service (SETSS)

The Special Education Teacher Support Service (SETSS) Program aims to address the behavioral objectives and educational goals outlined in each child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Preschool

QSAC offers a center-based preschool program that provides children between the ages of 3 and 5 with an appropriate education in the least restrictive environment

Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT)

The QSAC Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) program is open to all children between the ages of 3 and 5 classified by the Board of Education's Committee on Pre-School Special Education (CPSE) as a preschooler with a disability.
